AVOID CONTACT
Avoid Contact is a twin screen video installation exploreing the relationship between a man and a woman, and premiered at the Scottish Society of Artists annual exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh in 2000.
The artwork is presented on two working 14” CRT television monitors with two VHS video players, dismantled and suspended inside a wooden frame, to look in some way as if they are exploding. The works are set up in a way that although they are facing each other, they are in fact looking past their counterpart.
