The Mark 1: The Worlds First Whole Body MRI Scanner, 2018.

This is a short documentary touching upon the story of the worlds first whole body MRU scanner, and some the people who made it. It was designed and built in Aberdeen in the late 1970’s / early 1980’s.

This short film was commissioned by the Grampian Hospitals Art Trust, and is on display next to the Mark 1, which is on permanent display in the Suttie Art Suite, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
